Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. You will work on software development for embedded hardware, ensuring high performance, reliability, and real-time functionality.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for a variety of applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and ensure seamless integration with embedded systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C/C++ or other relevant languages.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, debugging, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Participate in design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Analyze system requirements and contribute to project planning and timelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in embedded systems development.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded Linux or other advanced RTOS platforms.
  • Knowledge of hardware design and experience working closely with hardware teams.
  • Experience in low-level programming and debugging tools.
  • Development for 32-bit ARM processors, bare metal.
  • USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, connectivity experience.
  • Customer-facing experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in software or hardware engineering.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
