Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team in the aerospace and defense industry. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding activities including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness of HR databases and systems.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Support HR initiatives related to performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs in collaboration with department managers.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management as needed.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Assist in payroll processing and corrections when needed (through ADP).
- Perform additional tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of previous experience in human resources or related administrative role preferred, ideally within the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The position operates in a professional office environment. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role may require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
