Schedule:

• Monday-Saturday: 7:00am-6:00pm.
• Punctuality & Attendance: Critical due to the small team size.
• Community Events: Mandatory on Saturdays.
• Early Starts: Some days require a 7:00am start.
• Advance Scheduling: Schedules provided at least two weeks in advance, with efforts to schedule a month out.

Work Environment:

• School-Based Position: Located at the Wellness Center connected to a local high school.
• Training: May be required to float to Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) for training.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a family practice or urgent care setting.
• Training Skills: Experience in training new hires is a significant plus.
• Independence: Must be able to operate independently.
• Specialty Offices: Candidates from specialty offices are not preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in administering injections and vaccines is essential.

Responsibilities:

Front Office:

• Checking in/out patients
• Answering phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance

Back Office:

• Educating students on safe sex and birth control methods
• Distributing safe sex marketing materials to students (condoms, pamphlets, etc.)
• Taking vitals
• Administering injections
• Performing blood draws
• Assisting with minor procedures
• Patient documentation and registration
