electronic health record system. - must have night and weekend availability!

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet and register patients as they arrive in the ER, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
• Accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into the computer system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and communicate financial responsibilities to patients and their families.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance
• Answer phones, take messages, and return voicemails promptly.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
