We are looking for a Facilities Support Specialist for a large financial services client. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and customer service experience. Responsibilities:

  • Mail Sorting: Sort incoming mail from the post office, FedEx, and other carriers.
  • Package Management: Scan, code, and track packages daily.
  • Mail Delivery: Deliver mail within the office.
  • Office Maintenance: Address internal needs such as temperature control and leaks.
  • Access Card Management: Issue new access cards to new employees and collect cards from departing employees.
  • Customer Service: Provide internal customer service; no external calls.
  • Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods and be mobile; lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of mailroom experience preferred/customer service, but detail-oriented candidates without experience will be considered.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience is preferred, must be able to interact with internal employees and clients.
  • Outlook experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail is required: ensuring accuracy in sorting and delivering mail.
  • Strong organizational Skills required: Managing and keeping track of incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Strong time management required: Handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are required: Interacting with colleagues and external contacts effectively.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for entirety of shift.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing issues such as misdirected mail or delivery delays.
