Job Title: Controls Engineer


Job Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for writing application code using Visual Basic, C++, PLC, and OIT programs. You will create designs, drawings, BOMs, and specifications, ensuring that projects meet the specified standards and performance requirements. You will also develop PLC programs to control industrial food processing equipment and create functional OIT screens for operator interaction. Additionally, you will identify problem causes, develop alternative solutions, and communicate the associated benefits and risks. You will use advanced product line knowledge to assist Application Engineering and Customer Service in creating complex quotes for machines and parts. Collaboration with sales, service, methods, and production departments is essential.


Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 3-10 years of relevant experience in industrial machine controls
  • Experience with from scratch programming of PLCs and HMI systems
  • Experience designing and developing control systems
  • Experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs
  • Experience with Wonderware HMIs
Compensation:$140000
