Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee project-related issues, prepare and issue monthly schedule updates, and manage pre-bid RFIs. The ideal candidate will assist in determining the contracting strategy for the project, schedule and follow through with activities in the quality plan, and facilitate project meetings. This role involves establishing and managing all project procedures, supervising other Project Engineers, and mentoring less experienced team members. Responsibilities

• Oversee project-related issues.
• Prepare and issue monthly schedule updates.
• Distribute pre-bid RFIs.
• Assist in determining the contracting strategy for the project.
• Schedule and follow through with activities in the quality plan.
• Facilitate project meetings, starting with a Cares moment.
• Establish and manage all project procedures such as cost and control.
• Supervise other Project Engineers.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
• Support a positive and inclusive work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Project Engineer with DSA experience, preferably with community college experience.
• Experience in K-12 and commercial building projects.
• Strong verbal presentation and written skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Understanding of Contract Documents, Specifications, and cost reports.
• Extensive knowledge of all facets of construction.
• Knowledge of all facets of design.

Work Environment
