Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems engineering, particularly in command & control, baseband processing, payload subsystems, telemetry & command, mitigation and anti-jam equipment, and ground infrastructure. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and an active Secret clearance (or higher).

Responsibilities Include:

-Design and develop system architecture and requirements from scratch.

-Create detailed specification and design packages for system implementation.

-Integrate and develop software, with the ability to read and understand code.

-Guide software engineers from a higher level, providing oversight and direction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Have Requirements:

-Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Systems Engineering.

-Design Expertise: Proficiency in the left side of the V diagram (Design, requirements architecture, software environment).

-Experience in software integration or software development.

-Clearance: Active Secret clearance (or higher).

-Onsite Availability: Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs at least 4 days a week.

-DOORS Knowledge: Familiarity with DOORS is highly preferred.

-Guidance Capability: Ability to guide software engineers from a higher level.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBSE Experience: While MBSE is not required, having experience in MBSE or other design methodologies is beneficial.
