CAD Manager (Civil)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAD Manager to train and mentor team members on the best practices for using Civil 3D and related CAD tools. The CAD Manager will conduct quality assurance reviews of CAD deliverables to ensure they meet project and client requirements, stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in CAD and civil engineering design, and implement improvements as necessary. The role also involves managing project schedules and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality, and managing and maintaining Civil 3D templates, libraries, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor team members on best practices for using Civil 3D and related CAD tools
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of CAD deliverables to meet project and client requirements
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in CAD and civil engineering design, implementing improvements as necessary
• Manage project schedules and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Manage and maintain Civil 3D templates, libraries, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects

Qualifications:

• Expert level Civil 3D skills
• CAD management experience
• Additional design software knowledge is a plus

Work Environment:

You will work in an office supporting a team of 10 design engineers. The role offers a flexible schedule with remote days on Fridays and typically requires being in the office at least three days a week. This company is based in Lone Tree, CO.
