Position Summary
We are looking for a distinctive candidate to manage and develop provider navigation solutions including Aetna Smart Compare, additional programs which leverage Aetna Smart Compare and the development of new product solutions. As part of the Aetna Commercial Network Product team, the successful candidate will need to be resourceful, leverage available internal and external information, manage initiative timelines, and build/maintain strong working relationships across the organization. While part of a broader team, the candidate must be able to drive innovation and act independently in a fast-moving environment, where you will be making informed strategic and tactical decisions.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing existing provider navigation solutions, including Aetna Smart Compare, as well as participate in the development of new solutions and will need to:
• Collaborate across business partners, including incorporating feedback from our clients and members, to evolve provider navigation, product strategy, and associated roadmap.
• Lead innovative product development efforts through the Commercial Product Development process as Aetna Smart Compare is enhanced (e.g., standard definition of quality) and new solutions emerge (e.g., benefit design that encourages adoption of high-quality, cost-effective providers).
• Possess a proficient understanding of the provider navigation competitive landscape, including how quality and cost effectiveness are defined, and analyzing market trends and industry dynamics to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Manage multiple initiatives including timelines, risks, contingency plans, deliverables, budget, and annual investment cycle.
• Work cross functionally, including with Analytics and Network teams
• Act as a subject matter expert to convey information clearly to diverse audiences including internal training, communications, client meetings and response to request for information/proposal.
**The position can sit anywhere in the US and may be remote or hybrid depending on candidate location. Commutable distance to Hartford, CT or New York, NY preferred.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of successful product strategy, development and project management experience related to high level projects.
• Healthcare business/insurance industry experience.
• Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
• Ability to adapt to ongoing change, think outside of the box and be truly distinctive.
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of network products and provider navigation solutions

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
