Director of Human Resources


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop strategic HR plans.
  • Translate business plans into HR strategies.
  • Advise on the impact of new programs and regulatory actions.
  • Develop staffing strategies and identify talent.
  • Implement compensation and benefits programs.
  • Oversee payroll and HRIS operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Act as chief negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.
  • Counsel managers and employees on labor laws.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Develop HR planning models to address competency gaps.
  • Assess competitiveness of HR programs.
  • Build credibility as a problem solver.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage HR budget and financial metrics.
  • Continuously improve HR division efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in HR or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in HR leadership.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience with collective bargaining.
  • Non-profit experience preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Strong administrative, project management, and HRIS skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Compensation:$70.11
