Survey Technician

Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Land Survey Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting land surveys and preparing accurate maps and reports. This role involves working both in the field and in the office, utilizing advanced surveying equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments.
• Collect and record accurate data on land features, boundaries, and elevations.
• Assist in the preparation of survey maps, plats, and reports.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to ensure project accuracy.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during fieldwork.
• Perform data analysis and quality control checks.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies and issues related to survey data.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying or related field.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
