Party Chief

Job Description

As a Survey Party Chief, you will lead a team of surveyors in conducting precise and detailed land surveys for high-end residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and quality of our surveying services, meeting the unique needs of our discerning clientele.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of surveyors in the field.
• Conduct detailed land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
• Prepare and review survey drawings, maps, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure survey accuracy and project alignment.
• Maintain accurate records of survey data and field notes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to high net worth clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
• Train and mentor junior surveyors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in land surveying, topographic surveys, construction staking, construction surveys, boundary/topographic, vertical surveying.
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, and GPS.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and engaging, offering a fun atmosphere where individuals can carve their own paths. Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with full-time in-office requirements.
