Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. The role involves performing manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance. The ideal candidate will operate laboratory instruments, adhere to all company policies and procedures, and support the daily management of processes and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.
• Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to customer-specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
• Support daily management of processes and products, including assessment to drive problem-solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.
• Use automated and manual lab equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Science required
  • With laboratory experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science preferred
• Biology knowledge
• Proficient in pipetting

Work Environment

The synthesis team will perform cell division of the oligo and pass it on to formulations, requiring teamwork.

The HPLC team will purify the oligo and pass it on to formulations, also requiring teamwork.

The formulation team will handle concentration adjustments to the oligo and then packaging, which involves more solo work.
