Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

Support the automation/robotics service team throughout the production of equipment for customers. Operate and test controls, program PLCs for new equipment, and handle service calls from customers. Troubleshoot issues over the phone and travel onsite when necessary. Write control service programs as needed and travel 50% of the time to program equipment onsite at customer locations.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Experience with automation and robotics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
• Electrical skills.
• Experience with robots and HMIs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Robotics and Control Systems Engineering or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
• Completed PLC programming courses in school.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Travel is required 50% of the time, with onsite work for the remaining time. Share an office with 1-2 other technicians.
