Job Summary: Are you an experienced IT professional with a knack for managing hardware refresh projects? We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to lead our hardware refresh project! If you have a proven track record in supporting hardware refresh projects, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors, this is the perfect opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for the hardware refresh project, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Inventory Management: Assign temporary device names in Active Directory and add devices to the inventory management system.
  • Coordination: Coordinate and communicate hardware delivery schedules, desktop installation, and Installation Qualification (IQ).
  • Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support, troubleshoot complex problems, and escalate issues to appropriate IT staff as needed.
  • Implementation: Perform systems Installation Qualification (IQ) and implementation.
  • Documentation: Update inventory management systems and SharePoint sites as applicable.
  • Project Meetings: Attend project meetings, provide project status updates, and assist the project team with technical issues related to hardware implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to quality standards and SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting hardware refresh projects.
  • Experience with hardware delivery and vendor coordination.
  • Strong inventory management experience.
  • 3 years of Active Directory experience, including adding devices to a domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to document processes, train team members, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with the IT leadership team and other departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • iPad support experience is a plus
