Job Description: COM TEAM (Customer Own Material Team)
Position Overview: Join our Customer Own Material (COM) Team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and processing customer fabric rolls. This position involves both desk work and physical tasks on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desk Duties:
- Review and process notes from inspectors and the release team regarding customer fabric rolls.
- Communicate with dealers via email about rejected or damaged fabric rolls.
- Copy and paste inspector notes into emails using Microsoft Word.
- Respond to emails addressing questions, comments, or concerns.
- Collaborate with the release team on fabric roll issues and email inquiries.
- Search for and match missing orders in the system with fabric rolls in inventory.
- Maintain and update various statistical logs and reports.
- Physical Duties:
- Move fabric rolls (20lbs - 100lbs) 10-15 feet for review or to update production status.
- Physically transfer rolls of fabric between sections after reviewing notes.
- Cross-train in all four roles (inspector, release team, intake team) to provide backup support.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Process requests for repairs, quality inspections, returns, credits, and out-of-specifications.
- Maintain current product, policy, and procedure information through cross-training, phone, mail, and email updates.
- Perform specific duties and participate in team projects as assigned by the manager.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
- At least 1 year of experience in a production or inventory role.
- Strong computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Word, and computer navigation.
- Ability to lift fabric rolls up to 100lbs.

- Data entry skills
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Bilingual in Spanish
