Job Title: Structural Detailer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Detailer to join our dynamic team. As a Detailer, you will convert customer drawings into simplified AutoCAD 2D drawings and create manufacturing plans. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Our team provides training on proprietary tools, fostering a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer drawings into detailed AutoCAD 2D drawings.
• Create manufacturing plans based on the detailed drawings.
• Coordinate internally and with customers to solve problems and ensure project delivery.
• Work on 5-6 projects at different stages of completion.
• Use proprietary AutoCAD 2D add-ins to enhance drawing accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members, including Team Leads and Checkers, to review and improve drawings.

Essential Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD drafting in construction or building design.
• Strong math skills and understanding of structural loads and connections.
• Ability to comprehend decking design drawings and connections.
• Familiarity with the approval process for designs.
• Ability to work with clients or fabrication plants.
