Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Aston Carter is thrilled to partner with a leading client in the KCK area who is seeking a talented Compliance Specialist to join their team. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in employee relations and fraud investigations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in governmental compliance and investigations, or those who hold a bachelor’s degree in finance and have completed internships.

Job Description

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will answer Integrity Helpline calls and emails from employees, documenting their concerns in detail following the established investigation methodology. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees across the organization and respond timely to ethics and compliance inquiries. Your role involves conducting thorough investigations related to ethics, Code of Conduct, and policy issues, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Additionally, you will assist with the case management system, perform data analysis, and create management reports.


Responsibilities

  • Answer Integrity Helpline calls and emails from employees and thoroughly document their concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Respond timely to ethics and compliance concerns or questions from employees and management.
  • Lead and conduct thorough investigations in response to ethics, Code of Conduct, and policy-related issues.
  • Interview witnesses, gather and secure relevant documentation, and analyze data to document fact-based findings.
  • Prepare thorough reports detailing the results and outcomes of the investigations.
  • Assist with the case management system, ensuring case details are complete and accurate within a specific timeframe.
  • Perform data analysis and create or maintain detailed management reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Develop an understanding of the organization's various companies, lines of business, and operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including pivot tables, formulas, and graphs.
  • 2+ years of experience with employee relations is preferred.

Work Environment

The position requires working in the office every day from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be communicating with internal employees and responding to their concerns, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
