· Supervises and leads smaller teams or subgroup of a larger team.

· Manages less-complex projects or multiple tasks on complex projects.

· Leads external communications.

· Responsible for team or project accounting, including invoicing, workload, scheduling, scope, roles, and budgets.

· Manages team to achieve KPI's

Description

• Provide technical design expertise to the project team and ensure the overall quality of client deliverables.
• Perform technical design for assigned projects with a working knowledge of traffic engineering in civil engineering.
• Mentor and direct team members in:
• Project design (engineering calculations, computer design software, referencing engineering procedures and design manuals).
• Collecting and assembling complex project data.
• Preparing complex project documents (specifications and bid documents).
• Reviewing complex drawings to ensure clarity and thoroughness.
• Preparing quantity takeoffs.
• Managing external communications.
• Documenting projects.
• Conducting complex site observations.
• Understand and meet internal and external customers' needs and expectations; develop and improve client relationships.
• Manage preparation of reports, studies, proposals, blogs, journal articles, etc.
• Understand basic financial terms and concepts as they apply to projects.
• Account for individual project task involvement, including scheduling, scope, role, and budget.
• Track multiple task budgets and schedules.
• Lead or contribute to business development efforts.
• Develop and follow up on qualifying leads.
