Antenna Test Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Antenna/RF Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop software in C/C++ or MATLAB to automate test fixtures, troubleshoot RF issues, and support technicians with troubleshooting and training. You will also analyze test data and collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for early to mid-career engineers to gain hands-on experience with both software and hardware in the DOD/Aerospace sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop software programs in C/C++ or MATLAB to automate test fixtures.
- Create software programs to automate testing processes.
- Troubleshoot RF issues during the testing of advanced antenna systems.
- Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
- Analyze test data to identify early trends.
- Participate in program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB programming.
- Experience with antenna testing and RF design.
- Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve RF issues.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends in test data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6++ years of professional or project-based experience in software development with C/C++ or MATLAB.
- Experience with RF testing through coursework or projects.
- Ability to support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
