Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. This role involves working in two clinics, West Bloomfield for radiation oncology and Novi (Columbus) for medical oncology. You will spend time at both locations, with the schedule determined based on patient needs, and initially more time will be spent at West Bloomfield. The role also requires a six-week training period in Detroit. You will be the sole representative of the research team at these sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical research activities.
• Identify patients by reviewing clinic schedules and pre-screening for potential candidates.
• Work with providers to inform them of potential patients.
• Obtain patient consent and set up all screenings, testing, and follow-ups.
• Guide providers on patient management, dosing, and care.
• Spin blood, store, and ship samples.

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse with 2 years+ of experience.
• Experience in oncology or clinical research.
• Ability to take care of sick patients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in oncology clinical research is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in two clinics: West Bloomfield for radiation oncology and Novi (Columbus) for medical oncology. Initially, more time will be spent at the West Bloomfield clinic. A six-week training period in Detroit is required. You will be the only research team member at these sites and will work closely with the lead nurse.
