Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

This role will support supplier, customer, and internal quality for an automotive manufacturing company. The individual will work to develop and maintain quality requirements and standards in a lean manufacturing environment. They will assist in process certification as well as internal and external audits. They will identify problems within the current manufacturing environment and devise solutions to improve quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality requirements and standards in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Support supplier, customer, and internal quality initiatives.
• Assist in process certification and conduct internal and external audits.
• Identify and resolve issues within the manufacturing environment.
• Implement solutions to improve quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive quality engineering
• Proficiency in APQP and PPAP
• Electronic product manufacturing experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• BS in Engineering discipline preferred

Work Environment

This position involves a mixed office and floor-based role, with approximately 60% of the time spent on the manufacturing floor. The work environment is a smaller, very clean automotive facility. Employees will have the opportunity to make changes and improvements, and will receive training and development opportunities to establish and maintain high-quality standards.
