Job Title: Test Technician

Job Description

Responsible for performing electrical tests on rotating electrical machines, evaluating their compliance with the project and/or applicable standards; evaluating the divergences raised during the test together with the test analyst, suggesting improvements when necessary, generating information aimed at continuous improvement and guarantee of the product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests on rotating electrical machines.
• Evaluate compliance with project and applicable standards.
• Work with the test analyst to evaluate divergences raised during tests.
• Suggest improvements when necessary.
• Generate information aimed at continuous improvement and guarantee of product quality.
• Calibrate and maintain electrical test equipment.
• Develop electronic databases, standards, work instructions, and procedures.
• Identify devices, coupling, flanges, keys, etc., necessary to execute electrical tests accurately and safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, or Electromechanical
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process and testing of rotating electrical machines
• Familiarity with measuring instruments for industrial electronic applications
• Ability to communicate and present detailed, technical initiatives to non-technical people
