Manufacturing Engineer

Description

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for design and improvement of manufacturing processes that incorporate lean ideas and manufacturing best practices. You will develop tooling and fixtures, as well as design workstation layouts that produce quality products. You will manage large capital projects with strict timelines and balance smaller projects to meet the needs of all production areas. This position is expected to effectively communicate with all members of the workforce.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Discipline preferred.

• 2 years minimum in Manufacturing Engineering.

Or Associate's with 5+ years

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process and floor improvements.

• Strong computer skills and understanding of Manufacturing Operating Systems (MOS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and SolidWorks.

• Strong ethical conduct

• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency. Ability to work as part of a team and work on production floor.
