Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems, conducting load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling. You will coordinate with other disciplines, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure compliance with construction documents. This role requires a strong work ethic, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Design heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems.
• Conduct load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Review the installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects within established schedules.
• Work on a wide variety of project types, scales, and complexity.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, both broad and detailed.
• Assist in developing contract specifications and researching new procedures or products.
• Perform all work safely and responsibly, adhering to the Health and Safety Plan.
• Act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with HVAC design.
• Experience with MEP design.
• 2+ years of Mechanical Design experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills.

• Experience as a designer.

Work Environment

You will work in a collaborative team environment on various projects. The position involves handling multiple projects simultaneously and working on different project types, scales, and complexities. Safety and adherence to the Health and Safety Plan are paramount.
