Job Title: Operations Specialist


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and transporting orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our deployment site. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting new feature testing and troubleshooting operational issues.


Responsibilities

  • Transport orders from merchant to deployment site.
  • Prepare orders by picking, packing, and loading them as they arrive.
  • Unload inventory from cars and manage stock on warehouse shelves.
  • Ensure site processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Maintain and stock site inventory.
  • Prepare items for delivery to customers at the deployment site.
  • Test, analyze, and implement new strategies for autonomous order fulfillment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues with guidance from the engineering team.
  • Support on the ground with new feature testing.
  • Write accurate, detailed, and comprehensive daily notes.
  • Work independently while supporting a San Francisco-based team.
  • Ensure order accuracy and fulfillment speed to delight customers.
  • Clean and organize the site container.

Essential Skills

  • Outgoing, diplomatic, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Tech-savvy with a strong passion for technology.
  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or food services industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Receptionist customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, data entry, Microsoft Office, and administrative support.
  • Experience with technology management and food handling.

Work Environment

The position is based at 8008 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC, United States. The work hours are rostered between Monday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm, with a schedule provided a week in advance. Weekend work is required.
