Job Title: Safety Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. This role requires being on-site and in the field to ensure the safety of all team members and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety plans, project management, and construction, with a focus on commercial projects. This is a full time position offering a salary of 80-100k, with an extensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive safety plans.
• Conduct Tool Box Talks to address safety concerns.
• Maintain and update OSHA logs.
• Provide safety training to all team members.
• Ensure all team members are up-to-date with required certifications.

Essential Skills

• Strong background in safety plans.
• Experience in project management, construction, and commercial construction.
• Proficiency in estimation related to safety measures.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within data centers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, education, manufacturing, or large commercial projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to maintain detailed safety logs.

Work Environment

You will be working on-site from a job trailer, primarily at a large data center project in Ellendale, MN. The work environment is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to safety management.
