Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Vendor Analyst to join our Vendor Set Up team. In this role, you will be responsible for vendor registration, onboarding, and analysis, ensuring smooth transactions and maintaining high standards of supplier management. The job requires excellent customer service skills and a good command of Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely system registration and setup.
- Resolve a high volume of supplier statements and inbound phone calls.
- Train suppliers on how to effectively use the supplier portal.
- Network and partner with other departments to ensure timely setup and/or payment.
- Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned.
Essential Skills
- Exceptional customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Vlookup and other standard formulas).
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Hands-on learning capability.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude.
- Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No degree required, but preferred if interested in transitioning to a different team.
- Experience in customer service or service industry (e.g., Starbucks) is beneficial.
Work Environment
The training for this role is very hands-on, typically involving shadowing and practical tasks, and it takes about 30 days to be fully operational. The team is largely autonomous, with each member managing their own work. The current location is on I Street until Spring 2025, after which the team will move to a new building at 7700 East Port Parkway, La Vista, NE. The work environment includes amenities such as a gym, cafeteria, and an onsite Starbucks.
