Job Title: Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an orthopedic office and be skilled in both front and back office duties. The Technologist will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and performing medical assistant duties.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and processes to patients.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment.
• Capture x-ray images and review them for proper identification and quality control.
• Maintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imaging.
• Perform medical assistant duties such as taking vital signs and recording health history.
• Handle approximately 30 patients a day.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Advanced MD and preferably Epic EMR systems.
• Front and back office experience.
• Excellent customer service and patient care skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in handling upset patients and providing excellent customer service.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced orthopedic office with flexible scheduling. The office is open from Monday through Friday, no weekends required.
