Job Title: Cash Application Specialist
Job Description
The Cash Application process for this team is very complex. It is supposed to be automated at points but that does not always happen, so this team needs to keep a close eye on what is going on for each respective plant. This team needs to go through an inter-company process with many intricacies that can be tricky.
Responsibilities
- Run daily cash deposit report and lockbox report from the bank’s website.
- Deposit checks remotely to the bank’s website.
- Process customer payments in Navision.
- Research and resolve deductions taken by customers.
- Create aging reports.
- Engage in collection management processes, as necessary.
- Distribute bank reports to management.
- Create journal entries in Navision.
- Daily export all sales invoices from WILD to Navision.
- Daily export all posted payments from Navision to WILD.
- Email invoices to customers via WILD.
- Assist with financial audits.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of cash applications experience.
- Experience with journal entries.
- Experience with intercompany transactions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3-5 years of cash application analysis experience required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat).
- Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables and V-look up from scratch).
- Experience with ERP systems
- Ability to analyze information and processes.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
The role will be in the office on Tuesday and Thursday, and remote on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Work hours are from 8am to 5pm for a 40-hour work week.
Compensation:$33
