Job Title: Survey CAD Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey CAD Project Manager to lead and manage construction layout and stakeout projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in project management, CAD design, and construction layout. This role involves managing field crews, client relations, and ensuring the precision and quality of all project data.

Responsibilities

• Manage field crews and client relations, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
• Lead and manage construction layout and stakeout projects from inception to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Generate stakeout data for construction layout, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
• Create detailed CAD drawings for construction layout and stakeout purposes, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with surveyors, technicians, project coordinators, and support staff to ensure data accuracy and project adherence to schedules.
• Perform quality control checks on all drawings and stakeout data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD software and equipment used in construction layout and stakeout.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all project drawings, stakeout data, and related documentation for future reference.
• Organize DWG files utilizing Dynamic Blocks, Layers, and other CAD tools.

Essential Skills

• At least 3-5 years of project management experience in construction layout projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD for drafting and CAD design.
• Experience as a Survey CAD Technician working on construction layout projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Leica Software (Total Stations and GPS).
