A well-established general contractor that works on a variety of projects ranging from retail, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, and restaurants is looking for a Construction Superintendent to support an active restaurant project. Responsibilities
- Open and manage job sites.
- Oversee project onboarding and ensure compliance with DOB requirements.
- Maintain rigorous quality control throughout all project phases.
- Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage all trades on-site, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Ability to occasionally work on the weekends.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- Restaurant interior construction experience.
- Experience overseeing all Construction Trades on site.
- Ability to work on site 90% of the time.
- Proficiency in Construction Management software such as Procore, Rakan, or MS Project.
- Experience reviewing drawings, creating project schedules, look-aheads, and enforcing OSHA safety guidelines.
- Must hold OSHA 30 or SST and Superintendent license.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead meetings with subcontractors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare or commercial projects.
- Valid driver's license.
Work Environment
90% of the time on the field, 10% spent in the office.
Projects are throughout NYC and occasionally Long Island.

Hours
Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-3 or 4pm.
