Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Civil & Structural Engineers with 3-7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural projects, transportation planning, traffic analysis, and engineering design, with a focus on urban environments and multi-modal transportation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-impact transportation projects that directly contribute to the development and improvement of NYC's transportation infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct transportation planning and traffic analysis for urban environments.
- Design and manage roadway and street projects, ensuring compliance with New York City standards.
- Utilize Microstation or Civil 3D, or structural software
- Handle design tasks on transportation and roadway projects, including work on DEP, DDC, and DOT projects.
- Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Engage in business development and project pursuits, contributing to the growth of the new office in New York.
Essential Skills
- 4-7+ years of experience as a civil/ structural engineer working on NY roadway and street design projects.
- EIT certification is required. PE nice to have.
- Proficiency in Microstation or Civil 3D.
- Experience with DEP, DDC, and DOT projects.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple high-impact projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Experience with land development, stormwater management, site development, grading, drainage, and site planning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:$170000
