Role Overview:

Currently hiring for multiple long-term openings in a medical laboratory to help process samples and specimens. This is an entry-level role (no degree required) and will primarily focus on processing, scanning, packaging, and performing data entry for various human-based specimens/tests.

Pay:

  • $17.25/hour

Shifts Available:

  • Monday – Friday, 10:30pm – 7am(plus rotating Saturdays or Sundays and overtime)
  • Tuesday – Saturday, 4am – 12:30pm(plus rotating Sundays and overtime)
  • Tuesday – Saturday, 2am – 10:30am(plus rotating Sundays and overtime)

Duties:

  • Scan samples into the system and verify labels are accurate.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Process and sort samples.
  • Package specimens in the laboratory.
  • Insert specimens into appropriate machinery/equipment.
  • Put caps on specimens after running them through machinery.
  • Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
  • Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
  • Perform sample sorting, racking, and retrieving.
  • Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have work experience, but can be from a variety of industries.
  • This is an entry-level role in the scientific field, so no degree is required, although you must have a completed High School Diploma or GED.
