Job Title: Electrical Test Technician

Job Description

This Electrical Testing position focuses on the testing of all body electronics and ECUs of a variety of prototype vehicles. The role is hands-on and lab-based, involving extensive testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench, chamber, and electrical testing of body electronics, ECUs, and fuse boxes.
• Document test results thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with various electrical R&D departments and engineers.
• Complete several tests each day in a lab-based environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electronics and engineering.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and soldering.
• Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and micrometers.
• Understanding of schematics and electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Experience with PCB (Printed Circuit Boards).
• Knowledge of automotive vehicles and automotive technician skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electronic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Work Environment

The role is 100% on-site in a lab-based environment, with a flexible start time between 6-10am and a requirement to work 8 hours per day. Some overtime may be required. This is a long-term consulting position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of different vehicles, including new model BEV (Battery Electric Vehicles).
