Join our innovative team as a Biomedical Processing Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in transforming human tissue products for surgical transplantation. Your meticulous attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards will ensure the highest quality and compliance in our processing, packaging, and labeling operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Skillfully perform debridement, processing, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished tissue products.
  • Employ specialized techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue according to precise specifications and protocols.
  • Support the Team Lead in managing inventory levels on the core and dock for receiving supplies.
  • Execute lab cleaning activities in alignment with established policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory staff to uphold compliance with all federal, state, and AATB regulations, particularly those governing manufacturing processes.
  • Accurately complete production documentation for nerve processing, adhering to standard operating procedures and quality benchmarks.
  • Assist with maintaining production records as necessary.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures with unwavering commitment.

Essential Skills:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Hands-on experience with human tissue processing.
  • Proficient understanding of debridement procedures.
  • Skilled in using scalpel and forceps.
  • Ability to meticulously follow standard operating procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in science (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in medical or healthcare settings.
  • Background in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
  • Experience working within regulated environments.
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Strong desire for long-term career growth in this position.
