Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to be responsible for soldering lead frames and tombstones on PCBs. This role involves working on transmitters used in aircraft and requires working under a microscope for the majority of the day performing precise soldering tasks.
Responsibilities
- Solder lead frames and tombstones on PCBs.
- Work on transmitters used in aircraft.
- Perform soldering tasks under a microscope for the majority of the day.
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench area.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience working under a microscope for soldering.
- Proficiency with soldering equipment, hand tools, encapsulation equipment, marking equipment, wire terminating, stripping, and bonding.
- Ability to understand schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in electronics and military soldering standards.
- Attention to detail and precision in soldering work.
Work Environment
The position is based in a production environment where you will have your own bench area. There are currently 12 people in similar roles, with one opening available. This is a 1st shift position with hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime until 4:30 PM and Saturday shifts from 6 AM to 12 PM. The work involves intriguing and challenging tasks in a busy and flexible environment.
Compensation:$22
