Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Salty Packtypes Strategy and Growth will lead price pack architecture strategic and commercialization work and is responsible for supporting accelerated growth in the Salty Business Unit, the growth engine for The Hershey Company over the strategic plan horizon. This role will be responsible for leading all strategic planning, consumer insight, portfolio analysis and project leadership work across commercial/operational levers within the price pack architecture space. This role will serve as a thought leader and critical partner to our commercial & operational teams providing strategic guidance and direction for growth plans and investment as we build out and scale our Salty portfolio.
This individual will need to be an expert in strategic thinking, direction setting, and complex problem solving to enable the holistic growth agenda. He/she will also be responsible for translating PPA strategies into commercial plans and lead all new item commercialization. He/she will need to present to senior leadership regularly, will oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously and will need to operate at both a detailed, analytical level and a broad, strategic, general manager level.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and expansion of the PPA growth pipeline rooted in consumer research in support of delivering on the Salty strategic plan growth ambitions
- Lead the optimization of Dot's PPA to deliver expanded household penetration in support of Dot's ambition to become a $1B snacking brand including a relaunch of the instant consumable pack.
- Lead packtype expansion within the Pirate's Booty brand, unlocking new consumer occasions and driving growth for the Salty business within the permissible kid snacking space
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the PPA space as a strong partner for brand and commercial teams. Lead category and competitive portfolio analysis to inform the Salty growth agenda
- Partner closely with the Strategic Revenue Growth Management (SRGM) team to strategically leverage PPA as a means of driving price realization across our branded portfolio
Education:
- Bachelors degree required, MBA or equivalent marketplace experience preferred
- 8+ years of combined experience in CPG or strategic consulting firm.
- Direct or project-based experience in commercial or operational functions.
- Experience leading strategic and data-driven recommendations and decisions.
- Experience working across functions and teams to align and implement actionable strategies.
