Job Description
As a Fulfilment Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists to ensure the health and safety of patients by locating, dispensing, packing, labeling, and shipping orders in a timely manner. You will follow all laws, regulations, and company policies while providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Locate, dispense, pack, label, and ship orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Clean and maintain equipment according to daily, monthly, and annual procedures.
- Wear clean scrubs and appropriate safety equipment as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean workplace and understand emergency/disaster plans.
- Receive and verify the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions.
- Read prescriptions accurately, interpret physician intent, and process prescriptions efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain ingredient, equipment, and batched product inventories.
- Stock the fulfillment area with finished products and necessary materials.
- Prepare orders for pharmacist review prior to shipment.
- Sort, stock, and label compounded medications.
- Ensure medications are properly stored.
- Provide friendly and prompt service to clients, handling patient complaints efficiently.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Pharmacist Manager to ensure smooth operation of the fulfillment area.
- Support pharmacists in the daily operations of the fulfillment area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office software, QS-1, and Compounder.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, fax, and telephone.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Retail experience with stocking, labeling, and sorting compounded medications.
Work Environment
The work hours are from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm or 3:30 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with rotations on Saturdays (minimum of 2 Saturdays a month). The workplace is currently expanding, offering opportunities for internal growth.
