Survey Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in both field and office survey work, along with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software. This role requires a State Survey license or the ability to obtain one, as well as experience in proposal preparation and job estimates.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee survey projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare proposals and job estimates for survey projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software for drafting and project management.
• Conduct topographic and ALTA surveys as needed.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely survey data collection.
• Ensure all survey work complies with state regulations and standards.
• Travel to job sites as necessary to oversee field activities and ensure project milestones are met.

Essential Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of survey experience in both the field and office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software.
• State Survey license or ability to obtain State license.
• Experience with proposal preparation and job estimates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong computer skills.
• Experience with land surveying, topographic surveys, civil engineering, land development, and survey software.

Work Environment

This role offers a flexible work schedule with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week. The position may require travel to job sites to oversee field activities. It is primarily an office-based role focused on project management.
