Desktop Support Technician

Description

A TEKsystems client in the center of Columbia, SC is looking to bring on a Desktop Hardware Analyst on a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. This person will be providing hands-on support to internal end users. In addition to troubleshooting, this person should be prepared to move/manage a large amount of equipment for various purposes including equipment replacement cycles, area renovations, and new area setups. This person will be responsible for keeping good track of asset hardware utilizing equipment management tools and procedures utilizing the tools listed below under skills.

Required Skills

3 to 5 years experience with:

1) Windows 10/11: Installation, configuration, imaging and troubleshooting

2) Active Directory: user/group management and authentication

3) Experience with enrolling mobile devices in Microsoft Intune using various methods including the Windows Autopilot to enroll devices

4) Ability to setup, manage, and troubleshoot Network printers

5) Experience deploying Windows OS using a variety of deployment tools such as SCCM (open to other deployment tools outside of SCCM)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-Must have a completed Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.

-Must be able to be on-site M-F, 8am-5pm. This is 100% on-site.

-Must be comfortable working in a very business professional environment- suit attire as needed.
