About the role:
As a Manager Grid Operations you will direct full scope of Grid Operations. Provide interface with management support groups to assure manufacturing effort accomplishes safety, quality, financial and regulatory requirements.
You will report to the Sr Manager Mechanical Operations and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.

You will report to the Sr Manager Mechanical Operations and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain manufacturing continuity with regards to application of plant rules and regulations concerning safety, quality, production and process and cost improvements
- Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet all production and shipping schedules
- Monitor and improve product cost and quality to maintain competitive position
- Coordinate manufacturing efforts with support responsibilities
- Represent management during frequent customer and regulator audits and inquiries
- Lead sustainable event-free culture by directing development of required training, communication, and implementation of programs
- Determine, justify, and plan appropriate staffing levels
- Provide administrative, technical and leadership guidance and direction to subordinate functions to ensure achievement of department, plant, division and our goals.
- Train personnel to ensure that they are qualified to manufacture nuclear fuel products.
- Implement a licensable, high quality, fuel product that is consistent with current engineering processes and quality assurance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least five years of related experience, 10-15 years preferred
