Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality maps and drawings, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity. The role requires managing project schedules and budgets while providing responsive service to last-minute requests, and effective communication with the project team.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality maps and drawings, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity.
• Meet project schedules and budgets while providing responsive service to last-minute requests.
• Understand and create maps, managing budgets and schedules for client delivery.
• Review field data and produce technical maps and drawings using various software platforms.
• Communicate effectively with the project team.
• Assist in fieldwork as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with subsurface utility engineering (SUE) standards and quality levels.
• Strong technical skills, including being process-oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, and a problem solver.
• Ability to work independently when required, with a methodical, consistent, and detail-oriented approach.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of survey processing is a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation Open Roads, Modeling Utilities, and Trimble Business Center is preferred.
