Medical Laboratory Technician (Hematology Department)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our hematology department for the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing laboratory tests and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science and 1+ years of experience as a medical laboratory technician
  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science
  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
  • Active MLT/CLS/MT/MLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hematological tests and analyses with precision.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of specimens.
  • Maintain lab equipment and follow quality control procedures.
  • Document and report test results accurately.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and standards.

Shift Details: This is a full-time overnight position

Schedule: 12:00am – 8:00am, Tuesday - Saturday (ex. 12:00am Tuesday - 8:00am Tuesday)

Compensation:$36.58
