Job Title: SolidWorks Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Drafter to join our team. This contract position supports an aerospace company located in Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in creating solid models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create solid models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Produce detailed drawings to ASME Y14 standards for machined parts.
• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to capture design intent and specifications.
• Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Professional experience with SolidWorks.
• Proficient in creating detailed drawings to ASME Y14 standards.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at a design and manufacturing facility in Fort Worth. You will work in a collaborative environment with other engineers and designers, using state-of-the-art technology and equipment to support aerospace project
