Job Description

• Review the contents of referrals to ensure complete and accurate information is received.
• Create patient profiles from scanned or faxed images by entering correct patient and provider information.
• Conduct an initial check of prescriptions to ensure clinical accuracy for processing.
• Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarifications, missing information, or patient concerns.
• Update concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of referrals.
• Enter new provider information.

Essential Skills

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician (excluding trainee time).
• Active national and state pharmacy technician license
• Strong computer skills.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm
• Training is three weeks and is from 9:00am-6:00pm

Pay

• $22/hour
