Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements and feasibility. This position will involve working closely with designers and drafters to ensure projects are executed to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements.
• Assess feasibility and procedures for accomplishing each project.
• Collaborate with a team of 5 other engineers to execute projects.
• Report to the project manager and work with designers/drafters to ensure project specifications are met.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience with P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in project engineering (SolidWorks design experience or senior design project equivalent).
• Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and reviewing customer specifications.
• Understanding of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret spreadsheets.
• Experience in drafting and designing.
• Strong analytical and calculation skills.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite with the engineering team, working Monday through Friday. The work environment is collaborative, engaging, and focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
