Job Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees all accounts receivable activities to maintain acceptable levels of delinquency, balances, and chargebacks. This role scrutinizes the company's exposure to Coop and Volume Rebate expenses, monitors import payment instruments, supports AR Credit Specialists, identifies delinquent receivables, exercises sound judgment on bad debt risks, oversees research of shortage and damage claims, and ensures completion of month-end cut-off activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee AR activities to maintain acceptable levels of delinquency, balances, and chargebacks.
- Scrutinize Coop and Volume Rebate expenses, track claims, and issue credits or adjustments as necessary.
- Support AR Credit Specialists in resolving disputes and payment discrepancies.
- Identify and follow up on delinquent receivables to ensure timely payments.
- Supervise a team of AR Credit Specialists, providing mentoring, training, and conflict resolution.
- Manage RGA requests and oversee claims procedures to ensure legitimate credits.
- Utilize SQL and Excel for data analysis related to job responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or related field
- 8+ years of experience in an accounts receivable role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Read, understand, and consistently follow procedures and policies.
- Interpret and apply corporate financial policies, company controls, and accounting theory.
- Work with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Ability to perform effectively taking initiative within a matrix reporting environment.
- Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphs).
Compensation:$76000
