Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and engage top talent for various roles including product development, SBIR contract support, and administrative positions.
- Provide end-to-end recruitment support to hiring managers, including posting job opportunities, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, recommending candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Guide hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process and ensure accurate activity dispositioning in HRIS/ATS.
- Ensure all job opportunities are accurately posted on all job boards.
- Update job advertisements using graphic design software such as Canva and PowerPoint.
- Update and maintain job descriptions.
- Identify, coordinate, and participate in various recruiting events.
- Create and maintain employee files.
- Draft offer letters and assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Conduct new hire welcome and orientation sessions.
- Support HR functions such as benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management.
- Provide administrative support for HR-related projects and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, hiring managers, and team members.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing a positive and professional experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR and recruitment activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of HR-related experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate cross-departmentally with minimal supervisory support
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading HR projects
- Ability to analyze HR-related data and convey complex information concisely and effectively
- Strong character, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
Work Environment
The work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, with core hours required from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Compensation:$38
